The Great Shark Jump

Here is some art from our upcoming EPs, courtesy of our very own Allison Narofsky. We have decided that life begins on the other side of the shark...

More News From the Front

More shots from the studio. That's VanGloria*s own Luke Moellman on Rhodes and a quartet of tromboners courtesy of the UARTS School of Jazz. That Fender Rhodes is the hardest working member of The Jean Marie. Rainer gave it a run for its money though, getting those horns done. No joke.

No Rest for the Wicked

Jean Marie Update: We are currently in the studio finishing up our most recent E.P.. We've got a four piece horn section coming in Tuesday and Rainer is currently figuring out how to make his guitar sound like a keyboard which, we've determined, is the quickest way to get keys on this album.
We are also in the process of hiring a new manager, booking agent, and publishing company, as well as designing a new website, building a tracking studio in our new house, and starting demos for the next E.P..

Stay Tuned...

Punks Not Dead

God I love DC. This was filmed a few blocks from my house.

Just one taste! And I fall down drunk...

Goodtimes had by all last weekend at the UM Alumni showcase in Williamsburg Brooklyn's Lovin' Cup. Hadn't played a show with Ken Bogan in a second! Sound guy liked us along with the hundreds of others in attendance. Once again, the lighting wasn't spectacular. Anyone know tricks for photographing bands in low light settings?

Skeet Skeet!!

The band that shoots together stays together.

Photos of last weekend's trip to the farm. It was Rainer's first time with a shotgun. Legendary.

Back Back Again!!

After a wee hiatus (and some technical difficulties) we're back!!
Thanks to everyone who came out to the Mercury Lounge show. The lighting wasn't great but we got A picture. Look forward to Apollo Heights joining us in Philly sometime in the not-so-distant future.

Also, from another recent show, here is a video of us playing Rocky Top. Yee Haw.
